The BH2C takes part in the Connecting Hydrogen Europe 2026 international conference.

On 17 June, the BH2C took part in the Connecting Hydrogen Europe 2026 international conference, one of the sector’s leading events in Europe. Representing the BH2C, Leire Colomo, a member of the Board of Directors, took part in the round-table discussion “Green Hydrogen in Action: Lessons from Leading Spanish Projects”, alongside representatives from Moeve, DH2 Energy, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation.

The session brought together developers of some of Spain’s leading renewable hydrogen projects to share practical experiences on project development, administrative procedures, infrastructure planning, financing and market creation. Key points discussed included the importance of having sufficient grid connection capacity, the impact of grid access costs on project competitiveness and the need to make coordinated progress in the development of renewable generation, infrastructure and demand.

As a panellist, Leire Colomo outlined the vision of the BH2C as a collaborative ecosystem that brings together the entire hydrogen value chain, emphasising the role of cooperation between industry, technology centres and public institutions in accelerating the roll-out of projects and building the necessary industrial capabilities.
