Reopening of the Call For Interest of Enagás hydrogen infrastructures.

Following the recent transposition of the RED III Directive for the transport sector through RDL 611/2026, Enagás is reopening the Call for Interest process for the development of renewable hydrogen infrastructure. This is to enable those stakeholders affected by the targets set out in this transposition of the legislation to update or, where applicable, reconfirm, if they deem it appropriate, the data already submitted. Furthermore, organisations that did not participate at the time because they were not subject to the requirements may do so during this period.

The timeframe for updating the information will be from 14 September to 30 September (inclusive).

How to participate:

• Participants registered before 30 June: the Enagás team will contact the organisations affected by the Directive.
• New participants: those interested in taking part in the process should contact us via email at callforinterestH2@enagas.es to register their interest and receive the letter containing the information to be completed.

The reopening of the consultation will enable parties to incorporate the impact of the new regulatory framework into the information collected, and to continue assessing the scale of the infrastructure required for the roll-out of hydrogen.
