BH2C among the initiatives selected for the 4th edition of the RENMAD Hydrogen Awards.

We would like to remind you that RENMAD has launched the 4th edition of their HYDROGEN 2026 Awards. These public awards, designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of key players in the renewable hydrogen sector in Spain, are given to companies, authorities and individuals whose work has significantly driven the sector's progress, promoting a just transition and generating a positive impact at regional and national level. The Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C) has been nominated for the “Renewable Hydrogen Project of the Year Award”, which aims to celebrate the contribution of pioneering projects that are paving the way and bringing certainty to the sector. In addition, several members within the BH2C ecosystem have been nominated in other prominent categories: Repsol, Enagás Renovable and Petronor are contenders for the “H2 Developer of the Year Award”; Maribel Rodríguez Olmos (Repsol) and Susana de Pablo (Enagás) have been shortlisted for the “Women in Renewable H2 2026 Award”; and Luis Iglesias (Enagás Renovable), Tomás Malango (Repsol) and Guillermo Figueruelo (Fundación Hidrógeno Aragón) are amongst the nominees for the “H2 Personality of the Year Award”. Voting to select the finalists remains open until 2 October, and the voting period for the winners will run from 13 October to 18 November.
