Calvera Hydrogen validates its ALETHEIA hydrogen station test apparatus under real operating conditions at the Exolum hydrogen refuelling station.

Calvera Hydrogen has carried out field validation of its ALETHEIA initiative at the 700 bar hydrogen refuelling station developed by Calvera for Exolum, with the aim of checking its performance in the field. The Hydrogen Station Test Apparatus (HSTA) ALETHEIA is a system designed to verify, under controlled conditions, the correct operation of a hydrogen refuelling station, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 19880-1 and following the tests defined by CEP. Thanks to this system, Calvera Hydrogen can test the performance of the hydrogen dispenser under real operating conditions, analysing key parameters such as pressure, temperature, communication, flow rate and safety alarms. The equipment features a 6 kg hydrogen tank, allowing for either full or partial refuelling, thereby adapting to different testing requirements. Furthermore, it offers the possibility of recovering the hydrogen used, improving the efficiency of the process and reducing losses during testing. This type of testing is essential to ensure that hydrogen refuelling stations operate safely, accurately and reliably, both during commissioning and in subsequent maintenance checks.

Calvera Hydrogen has also announced that it has been awarded a contract to supply its 500 bar stationary hydrogen storage systems to a leading EPC and infrastructure company in Central Europe. This contract further strengthens Calvera Hydrogen’s position as a trusted partner for the design, engineering and manufacture of high-performance hydrogen infrastructure. Its smart storage solutions are built around three core principles: safety, reliability and operational efficiency. Every system is developed following a rigorous engineering process, combining advanced pressure vessel integration, process design and state-of-the-art monitoring capabilities to ensure maximum performance throughout the equipment’s service life.
