The 8th meeting of the Production Vertical of the BH2C was held on Thursday, 22 October, at the Lumbier (Navarre) facilities of Nordex Electrolyzers, the new leader of the vertical alongside Petronor. On this occasion, the meeting took place as part of a visit to Nordex Electrolyzers, a manufacturer of alkaline electrolysers set up as a joint venture between the Nordex Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wind turbines, and Sodena, the business development agency of the Regional Government of Navarre. During the meeting, Javier Perea, from Petronor, reviewed the latest developments in the sector and analysed the main regulatory aspects relating to hydrogen production. In addition, Irene Huarte, from Nordex Electrolyzers, provided an overview of the company’s history leading up to the development of its technology and the industrial project of Nordex Electrolyzers. The centrepiece of the meeting was the tour of the test facility, where the company's 2.5 MW pressurised alkaline electrolyser, the NX2500, is currently located. The tour was led by Javier Fernandez de Manzanos, of Nordex Electrolyzers. |
