Tamoin, Team, Trafag and Tecnalia partner up to develop a new technology for detecting hydrogen leaks in industrial settings.
Tamoin, Team, Trafag and Tecnalia are all working together in the H2SENT project to develop an advanced solution for detecting hydrogen leaks in industrial settings by combining AI techniques with optimised sensor systems, thereby improving the accuracy, adaptability and efficiency of existing detection systems. The project is structured around two complementary products: PRE3, a high-performance pre-trained system for predefined geometric configurations, and SL3, a self-learning system adaptable to any installation geometry. Both products will enable the source of leaks to be detected accurately, optimising sensor distribution and reducing response times. In addition, the consortium partners will develop regression models and metamodels based on machine learning, combining numerical simulations and experimental data to maximise accuracy and minimise prediction errors. H2SENT is led by Team Engineering and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
