The Somorrostro Training Centre, the University of the Basque Country and the University of Mondragon launch a series of short courses on hydrogen technologies.

On the initiative of the BH2C Knowledge Centre, a new format for short courses in hydrogen technologies has been launched by the Somorrostro Training Centre, the University of the Basque Country, the University of Mondragon and some of the organisations collaborating on the Inter-University Master's Degree in Hydrogen Technologies.

These courses, lasting between 20 and 25 hours, are to be held on Friday afternoons from 15:00 to 20:00, and will give participants access to micro-credentials certified by Europass of the European Union and issued by the university organising the course.

To begin with, two courses will be launched:

  • Fundamentals of Hydrogen Production (at the University of Zaragoza), a 20-hour course starting on 9 February 2026.
  • Hydrogen Purification Techniques (at the University of the Basque Country), a 20-hour course starting in March 2026.

More courses will be organised in the coming months covering the entire hydrogen value chain, with the possibility of obtaining an Expert Diploma in Hydrogen Technologies if the 10 courses with micro-credentials are successfully completed.
