Aitor Arzuaga takes part in the H2A Symposium 2026 in Amsterdam, under the theme of resilience, competitiveness and sustainability.

On Thursday 18 June, Aitor Arzuaga, president of the BH2C, took part in the H2A Symposium 2026 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Under the theme ‘Hydrogen in a Fast-changing World: Building European Resilience’, the programme brought together leaders from industry, public administration, the financial sector and academia to discuss the role of hydrogen in strengthening Europe’s competitiveness, energy security and sustainable future. During the event, the final investment decision (FID) for the hydrogen distribution infrastructure at the Port of Amsterdam was announced. Speakers highlighted the importance of developing a hydrogen infrastructure to enable the region’s industrial decarbonisation. The event was organised by the H2A association (Hydrogen to Amsterdam), a consortium of local companies and international partners who have joined forces to import green hydrogen via the Port of Amsterdam.
