Tecnalia ranked as the leading Spanish organisation in terms of participation in projects funded by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has published an interactive dashboard of the projects funded by the Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (JU). The ranking places Tecnalia as the leading Spanish organisation in terms of involvement in European hydrogen projects, consolidating its role as a key player in the European hydrogen R&D&I ecosystem. The Basque technology centre is the largest recipient of these grants in Spain, having been awarded 10,964,932.57 euros of the 139,166,038.74 euros allocated to fund projects in the country. Tecnalia participates in projects across the entire hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, distribution and industrial and mobility applications, directly contributing to European decarbonisation targets. The European Union's Clean Hydrogen Partnership is a public-private partnership that supports research, development and demonstration of clean hydrogen technologies, with a view to accelerating their deployment and contributing to European climate neutrality.
