Petronor hosts the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bizkaia Business Confederation.
The Board of Directors of the Bizkaia Business Confederation (CEBEK) has held its monthly meeting at the Muñatones Palace, within the Petronor refinery. The meeting agenda included a review of the organisation's latest activities and an analysis of its current business and economic situation.
At the meeting, Jose Ignacio Zudaire, Deputy CEO of Petronor, gave the CEBEK board members a first-hand account of the business activity of Petronor, its strategic positioning in terms of both technology and industry, and the various initiatives being taken forward within the company to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Once the meeting had finished, those present were given a guided tour of the 2.5 MW electrolyser facilities, the first green hydrogen production plant in the Basque Country.
Separately, Petronor has also hosted at its Muskiz refinery a group of students studying for a degree in Business Management and Marketing at the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce. During the visit, the students learned about the company's role in the Basque energy sector and its strategy for decarbonising its activities.
