Parke and BH2C receive awards at The Bay Awards – Metropoli gala ceremony for their commitment to the green hydrogen sector.

Inspired by the success of the international edition of The Bay Awards held in 2024, the first edition of The Bay Awards – Metropoli Edizioa took place on 10 March, with the aim of recognising initiatives that contribute to the transformation of the Bilbao metropolitan area. At the gala ceremony, the Basque Country Technology Park was the prize winner in the “Bateginik Saria” category for its work in helping set up an exemplary partnership between institutions, companies and key knowledge stakeholders in the green hydrogen sector at the Abanto Campus. Additionally, BH2C was a finalist in the “Ameslariak Saria” category, which recognised the Association’s strategic vision for the region. Itziar Epalza, General Manager of Parke, and Aitor Arzuaga, President of BH2C and CEO of Alba Emission Free Energy, accepted the awards at the Teatro Campos Elíseos.
