The MUBIL Mobility Expo hosts the 7th meeting of the Use in Mobility Vertical of the BH2C, as part of the fifth edition of the trade fair.
The 7th meeting of the Use in Mobility Vertical of the BH2C was held on Thursday, 26 March, at the MUBIL Mobility Expo, a sustainable mobility trade fair, at the FICOBA exhibition centre in Irún. The meeting of the Vertical, led by EVE and Repsol, brought together over 40 people from 22 member organisations.
Miguel Palacio, from Petronor, kicked off the day by running through the latest developments in the projects and initiatives being taken forward in the Vertical, as well as the most relevant regulatory developments in the hydrogen-based mobility sector in recent months. David Simó, from Fagor Ederlan, then presented the ZEH2OPS project for the development of an innovative OPS system for power generation based on a hydrogen fuel cell for the decarbonisation of vessel activity when berthed at port.
Nieves Murillo, from Calvera Hydrogen, then demonstrated the company's innovative Hydrogen Refuelling Test Unit solution for the validation of hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS), within the so-called Aletheia project. This technology facilitates regulatory compliance with a view to accelerating the roll-out of hydrogen refuelling networks. Following this, Idoia Arauzo, from CTP, presented the cross-border PHYRENE project aimed at consolidating a renewable hydrogen value chain in the Pyrenees region of Spain, France and Andorra. The project partners have compiled an analysis of the current situation and the companies operating in the hydrogen sector within the region.
Finally, a tour of the MUBIL Mobility Expo was organised, during which those attending the Vertical meeting were invited to visit the stands of seven companies with hydrogen mobility projects.
