The H2med Alliance, of which Enagás is a member, welcomes 40 new members to accelerate the roll-out of the hydrogen corridor.
The H2med Alliance, set up in December 2024 by the five H2med Corridor promoters REN (Portugal), Enagás (Spain), NaTran and Teréga (France) and OGE (Germany), together with other leading energy and technology companies, has taken a further step towards consolidating its position as the benchmark platform for the development of the most advanced hydrogen corridor in the European Union.
At an event held in Berlin and attended by representatives of the European Commission and the governments of Germany, Spain, France and Portugal, the Alliance welcomed 40 new members from across the hydrogen value chain, bringing the total number of participating organisations to 49. The new members, prominent amongst which are Enagás Renovables, Repsol, Port Autonome de Strasbourg and H2B2 Electrolysis Technologies, are leading companies that further strengthen the industrial and technological component of the initiative.
During the meeting, the high-level representatives stressed the importance of cross-border cooperation and the need to coordinate timelines to ensure the economic viability of projects and the development of a competitive and sustainable European hydrogen market.
