Enagás reports on the latest developments in the PCP for the Hydrogen Backbone Network in Catalonia and launches the PCP for BarMar.

Antonio Llardén, president of Enagás, and Arturo Gonzalo, the company’s CEO, have announced the start of the Public Consultation Plan (PCP) for the BarMar subsea hydrogen pipeline. The announcement was made during their meeting with Salvador Illa, President of the Government of Catalonia, Sílvia Paneque, Regional Minister of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition and government spokesperson, and Daniel Pérez, Director General of L’Energètica. The meeting, held at the Palau de la Generalitat, also featured an update on the PCP for the Hydrogen Backbone Network in Catalonia, which began on 13 April. Catalonia will boast 275 km of hydrogen pipelines, divided into three sections and connecting directly to the Enagás Regasification Plant in Barcelona. The route will run through 89 municipalities in the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona, and will include one of the three compression stations of the Hydrogen Backbone Network. Source: Enagás |
