The BH2C Working Group on Mobility meets to mark the commissioning of the portable hydrogen refuelling station at the Abanto Technology Park.

A meeting of the BH2C Working Group on Mobility was held on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, at the EIC, to define a schedule of actions and availability for the coming months with a view to starting the tests planned by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia with the Irizar i6S Efficient Hydrogen bus. The portable hydrogen refuelling station that IBIL has set up in the mobility area of the Abanto Technology Park will be used to supply renewable hydrogen of mobility quality for these tests.

The working group, led by the BH2C technical office, is made up of IBIL H2, as the representative for the logistics of H2 mobility distribution and dispensing; the Department of Transport and Sustainable Mobility of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia; for the deployment of the Bizkaia bus fleet; Irizar, as the manufacturer of H2-powered buses; and the Basque Energy Agency (EVE), which is promoting activities to raise public awareness of hydrogen.
