The BH2C takes part in a round table discussion in Brussels with leading European hydrogen valleys at the CHP Hydrogen Valley Days event.

The Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C) has taken part in the second edition of Hydrogen Valley Days, organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership in Brussels on 24 and 25 June. The event, entitled ‘Hydrogen Valleys: Driving Europe's Competitiveness’, gave the BH2C the opportunity to present the projects and activities taken forward in the renewable hydrogen sector in the Basque Country.

At the event, Marcos Suarez, Director of Hydrogen and Renewable Fuels at the Basque Energy Cluster, took part in the session on 25 June entitled ‘Lessons learned from advanced projects’. In the course of the presentation, those present were updated on the current status, the challenges, the success factors and the next steps to be taken by the BH2C, as well as the projects conducted by Basque companies and organisations. On this basis, the speakers at the session discussed how market changes have impacted their activity, the barriers they have faced, the key partnerships that have driven their projects forward, the lessons they have learned and their plans for the future.

The session also featured the hydrogen valleys Greeen Hysland, in Mallorca; Baltic Sea H2, in southern Finland and Estonia; and Heavenn, in the north of the Netherlands.
