The BH2C, selected as an award candidate in the 4th RENMAD Hydrogen Awards.

RENMAD has announced the 4th Annual RENMAD HYDROGEN 2026 Awards. These public awards, designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of key players in Spain’s renewable hydrogen sector, honor companies, public authorities and individuals whose work has made a significant contribution to the progress of the sector, promoting a just transition and generating a positive impact at regional and national levels. The BH2C has been selected in the Renewable Hydrogen Project of the Year category, which aims to recognise and celebrate the contribution of pioneering projects that are paving the way and bringing certainty to the sector. The award targets projects that are already operational or at an advanced stage of development, are innovative, align with the principles of a just transition and have a positive impact on the local community and economy.

RENMAD has also highlighted the Tarragona Green Hydrogen project by Repsol and Enagás Renovable and the Enagás Green Hysland project in the Renewable Hydrogen Project of the Year Award category. Similarly, Petronor, Repsol and Enagás are among the companies selected in the H2 Developer of the Year Awards category.

The Woman in Renewables H2 category highlights the careers of Susana de Pablo of Enagás, Maribel Rodriguez of Repsol and Beatriz Nieto Calderón of CNH2. For the H2 Personality of the Year Award, RENMAD has nominated Guillermo Figueruelo of the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation, Emilio Nieto of CNH2, Luis Iglesias of Enagás Renovable and Tomás Malango of Repsol.

Voting to select the finalists will remain open until October 2, while voting for the winners will run from October 13 through to November 18.
