Aitor Arzuaga, president of the BH2C, has taken part in the EU Hydrogen Skills Forum, held in Brussels as part of the European Hydrogen Skills Stakeholder Conference. Speaking on the high-level panel discussion on skills for the energy transition, Arzuaga emphasised that the hydrogen sector has moved “from theory to implementation”, and stressed the urgent need to further strengthen and align practical training and professional qualifications with the industry’s real needs. The president of the BH2C also updated the audience on the progress made by the Basque Hydrogen Knowledge Hub, a key component of the BH2C. The hub promotes applied research, technological development and training skills in close collaboration with companies and institutions, with a view to strengthening the Basque hydrogen ecosystem and generating the specialised talent that Europe requires.
