The BH2C and thirteen member organisations participate in the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam was the venue for this year's World Hydrogen Summit on 21 and 22 May. As in previous years, the BH2C was at the event, showcasing the most significant achievements of its member organisations at its own stand within the joint stand organised by the Energy Cluster. In addition to the BH2C itself, eight member organisations were also present as exhibitors, including the Energy Cluster, ABC COMPRESSORS, CALVERA HYDROGEN, H2SITE, PARKE, SENER, TECNALIA and TUBACEX, and five as visitors: ALBA EMISSION FREE ENERGY, CEIT, EVE, PETRONOR and TUBOS REUNIDOS.

The “Canada-Spain-Portugal Hydrogen Collaboration Seminar and B2B Networking Event”, co-organised by the Canadian Embassy with Spain and Portugal, was held on the second day of the fair, with a view to promoting collaboration among the hydrogen sectors of these three countries. To this end, a series of stand-out initiatives were presented during the first part of the event, followed by a space reserved for B2B meetings. During the first part, Asier Madariaga, Business Development Manager at ALBA, outlined Petronor's main objectives for the coming years, such as the 100MW electrolyser project and the BH2C itself.

In addition, two of the member organisations present at the summit, H2SITE and TUBOS REUNIDOS, featured prominently in the H2 TECH SLIGHTS with their pitch presentations. On the one hand, Igor Egaña, from H2SITE, spoke about ‘Integrated membrane reactors for hydrogen production from biogas’, whilst Eliseo Salcedo, from TUBOS REUNIDOS, made a presentation on ‘Net zero seamless steel for green energy solutions’. In both cases, in addition to showcasing the capabilities of their respective organisations, these two speakers also presented the R&D projects their companies are involved in, such as Hazitek H2INTEGRA and H2SALT.
