The BASQUENERGY Cluster organises the 3rd edition of the Basque Hydrogen Research Day.
On Friday, 23 January, the Basque Hydrogen Research Day, organised by the BASQUENERGY Cluster, once again brought together researchers and heads of R&D from leading Basque companies.
The event began with an institutional opening address by Jaione Ganzarain, Vice-Minister for Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Regional Basque Government, who highlighted the strategic importance of renewable hydrogen as an opportunity to strengthen the industrial competitiveness and technological leadership of the Basque Country. The first block also featured Antonio Aguiló, project manager at Clean Hydrogen Partnership; Azahara Pastor and José Manuel de Pablo, from Enagás Renovable; and Joseba García, director of the EIC Foundation, who presented the 2030 Technology Roadmap for Renewable Fuels in the Basque Country, a unique strategy in Europe that will shape the efforts of the Basque ecosystem in the coming years.
The second block of the day was dedicated to knowledge transfer, with three workshops held to present the progress and results of the Elkartek IRAUNKOR, SINTETIK and H2MAT+ projects, all of which form part of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor.
