The Basque Government Office of Vocational Training joins the BH2C as a new member.

The inclusion of the Office of Vocational Training of the Basque Government Department of Education as a new member of the BH2C was approved at the Quarterly Board Meeting of the BH2C, held on Tuesday, 8 April, at the EIC. This brings the total number of BH2C members to 73, and the number of projects to 55.

The new member status of the Office of Vocational Training, to be represented in the BH2C by the Santurtzi Vocational Training (VT) Centre, also features a new project, entitled ‘Knowledge network on green hydrogen: sustainable teaching infrastructures and virtual platform’, to be added to the BH2C Cross-cutting Vertical. The objective of this new project is to create a knowledge network on green hydrogen technology, with a view to sharing information, providing training, conducting research and kindling public interest. To this end, use will be made of the innovative hydrogen infrastructure TELKI Green Hydrogen Lab at the Santurtzi VT Centre, as well as the new facilities to be set up at the Simón de Colonia VT Centre in Burgos, modelled on the TELKI experience.

In addition, the Office of Vocational Training will also join the BH2C Knowledge Classroom Working Group, which until now has been made up of the University of Mondragon, the University of the Basque Country, Somorrostro Vocational Training Centre, the Basque Energy Agency and the Energy Cluster.
