The 4th edition of the "La Noche de la Energía" Awards recognises the work of ArcelorMittal, Enagás, Nortegas and Repsol.
The 4th edition of La Noche de la Energía, organised by el Periódico de la Energía and one of the sector's key events to recognise the year's best energy initiatives, was held last Wednesday, July 8. This year’s awards, the El Periódico de la Energía 2025 Awards, were opened by Joan Groizard, Secretary of State for Energy. In the Best Hydrogen Initiative category, Enagás was selected as a finalist for its Spanish Hydrogen Backbone Network project and its Public Consultation Conceptual Plan.
Also among the winners was the All4Zero initiative, named Best Net-Zero Initiative. All4Zero, founded by ArcelorMittal, Holcim, Iberia and Repsol, with the collaboration of Enagás, is an industrial technology innovation hub aimed at accelerating the development of disruptive technologies in the field of decarbonisation, including renewable hydrogen. In addition, Repsol was recognised as the Best Initiative for Industrial Decarbonisation for its Tarragona Ecoplant project, which will produce 240,000 metric tons of methanol starting in 2029. In this same category, the "Green Gas, Yes" initiative, in which Nortegas participates, was named a finalist.
