4th edition of the Enagás Hydrogen Day.

The leading European players in the hydrogen value chain in Europe came together at the 4th Enagás Hydrogen Day, held on 28 January 2026 in Madrid. The event began with an institutional opening address by Sara Aagesen, Spanish Government Minister for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, who announced the creation of a draft bill to address the transposition of the European Hydrogen Package. Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President for a Clean, Fair and Competitive Transition at the European Commission, underlined the EC's commitment to hydrogen in Europe and the key role of the H2med project in hydrogen transport. The event also featured important figures such as Cani Fernández, President of the CNMC; Antonio Llardén, President of Enagás; and Bernhard Kluttig, Director General of Safety, Gas and Hydrogen, Federal Holdings of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy. Numerous presentations and round table discussions were also held, where those in attendance got to hear about the latest developments, experiences and insights driving the hydrogen economy towards a more sustainable future through collaboration.
