Tubacex awarded the top "A" rating by CDP for its commitment to climate action.

Tubacex has been awarded the top ‘A’ rating in Climate Change by CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), placing it among a select group of global leaders in environmental transparency and climate action. The Basque manufacturer has also improved its Water Security rating from ‘C’ to ‘B’, thereby further consolidating the company's robust approach to managing water-related risks and opportunities. This result is testament to the work being done by Tubacex to secure sound governance, roll out a credible decarbonisation strategy and make progress towards achieving ambitious environmental goals.

In the 2025 cycle, CDP has integrated climate, forests and water into a single corporate questionnaire, promoting a more holistic view of environmental management and comparability highly valued by investors and stakeholders worldwide.

The CDP ratings on Climate Change and Water Security are aligned with Tubacex's ‘Ambition 2030’ roadmap to reduce emissions through energy efficiency, electrification and the use of renewable energy. In addition, the company continues to innovate in products and supply chains to help decarbonise critical sectors. In this sense, Tubacex is collaborating with different organisations and companies in the Basque Country to develop new solutions in the renewable hydrogen sector.
