Trustees of the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation visit the hydrogen refuelling facilities of the Zoilo Ríos Group in Zaragoza.
A group of trustees from the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation (FHA) has visited the El Cisne service station owned by the Zoilo Ríos Group in Zaragoza to learn about two pioneering initiatives in sustainable mobility: the electric vehicle charging facilities and the hydrogen refueling station to supply renewable hydrogen. During the visit, the Zoilo Ríos Group presented its hydrogen refueling station, which supplies the first regular hydrogen-powered bus line in Aragon, operated by ALSA-Ágreda. The service station is also the venue of a pilot project with hybrid renewable hydrogen and diesel trucks, in collaboration with Carreras Grupo Logístico, EVARM and Repsol. The facility avoids 135 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
The visit was attended by Ms. Mar Paños, Vice President of the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation and Director General of Industrial Promotion and Innovation of the Regional Government of Aragon, who highlighted the importance of promoting collaboration between companies and raising awareness of the projects that are transforming the energy model in Aragon.
In addition, the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation has published a series of videos entitled “Hydrogen Voices,” in which experts and professionals from the sector explain the different hydrogen technologies in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The episodes available to date include topics such as fuel cells, the interaction of electrolysers with the power grid, safety in hydrogen projects and hydrogen refueling stations.
