Nordex Electrolyzers, recognised as an exemplary initiative of Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Nordex Electrolyzers has been recognised by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO) for its innovative design of a pressurised alkaline electrolyser, engineered to operate flexibly with direct power supply from renewable sources such as wind and PV solar energy. The recognition was given during an event led by Sara Aagesen Muñoz, the Third Vice-President and Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Spanish Government.

The joint venture between the Nordex Group, one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers, and Sodena, the business development company of the Government of Navarra, has thus been recognised as one of the exemplary initiatives contributing to the delivery of Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).

Meanwhile, the manufacturer of alkaline electrolysers is also making progress in the installation of the NX2500 system, consisting of a 2.5 MW pressurised alkaline electrolyser, at its test bench in Lumbier, Navarra. This is the largest electrolyser of its kind designed and manufactured in Spain.
