H2SITE has joined Ammonia Europe, a key association working to promote the development of the ammonia value chain in Europe. The Basque company is committed to unlocking the full potential of hydrogen, and ammonia plays a strategic role as both a carrier and feedstock for its production.
H2SITE technology enables on-site extraction of hydrogen from ammonia, helping to decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors and supporting a resilient hydrogen supply chain. By joining Ammonia Europe, the company is looking to collaborate with industry leaders, sharing knowledge and advancing regulatory and technological frameworks to speed up the roll-out of low-carbon ammonia solutions across Europe.
Ammonia Europe is a business association founded in 2024 with the aim of promoting the transition to a decarbonised European energy system through the responsible and sustainable use of ammonia. As part of its activities, the association works to promote collaboration between different players across the ammonia value chain in Europe, including producers, industrial users, port authorities and infrastructure developers.
