Hydrogen Valley Internal Workshop

The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation takes part in the first Hydrogen Valley Internal Workshop.

The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) has taken part in the first Hydrogen Valley Internal Workshop of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, held on 25 June in Brussels.

The session brought together 21 ongoing projects that are shaping the future for hydrogen in Europe to pool experiences, share lessons learned and address common challenges. Although time was limited, the event helped to strengthen the sense of community among the regions committed to hydrogen as a driver of development.

The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation was once again present as the only organisation to have participated in projects funded in the seven calls for proposals for Hydrogen Valleys launched by the Clean Hydrogen JU, highlighting its firm and sustained commitment to the energy transition and regional innovation.

This collaboration workshop coincided with the 2nd edition of the European Hydrogen Valleys Conference, held on 24 and 25 June in Brussels, which turned the European capital into a hub for discussion on the regional deployment of renewable hydrogen. One of the most prominent cross-cutting themes was the need for technical and professional skills to support this transition. In this context, the HyAcademy initiative was unveiled, set up with a view to training the next generation of hydrogen technology specialists.

The event also saw the presentation of the new H2V Facility, awarded to Roland Berger, which will build on the work of Mission Innovation's Hydrogen Valley Platform and provide technical assistance to potential hydrogen valleys. The application process will open in summer 2025, with an open call scheduled for 11 July.
