The H2Excellence project, of which Mondragon University is a consortium member, launches an international mobility program for students and teachers.

Mondragon Unibertsitatea is taking part in the H2Excellence initiative to promote excellence in vocational training in the field of fuel cells and green hydrogen technologies. As part of the project, a mobility program funded by the Erasmus+ program has been designed for students and teachers at different educational levels (vocational training, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral/research).

H2Excellence is looking for companies and/or technology centres to host students and/or teachers on internships covering a wide range of roles, from manual and engineering jobs to management and R&D, including any relevant discipline within the organisation. The project offers the following benefits to organisations participating in the internship programme:

  • Free participation: the internships are fully funded through Erasmus+, and Mondragon Unibertsitatea would take care of all management aspects.
  • Connection with talent: access to potential future talent and building relationships with highly motivated individuals.
  • Visibility: we will feature participating companies on our project platform, promoting internship opportunities and showcasing their commitment to the green hydrogen sector.

The minimum and maximum duration of the internships, which are planned for 2025 and 2026, will depend on the level of education in question (as established under the Erasmus+ program):

  • Vocational education and training (VET, EQF 3-5): from 2 weeks to 12 months.
  • Higher education, Bachelor's or Master's degree (EQF 6-8): from 2 months to 12 months.
  • Research (PhD or researchers): from 2 months to 12 months.
  • Teaching staff (job shadowing): from 2 to 60 days.
