The ERABILH2 project joins the Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C).

ERABILH2 is a project funded by the Basque Government under the ELKARTEK 2021 programme. The project was launched with the aim of promoting technological developments in the end-use phase of hydrogen, specifically in mobility and industry, sectors with a significant presence in the Basque Country and where hydrogen is considered to be an option for decarbonisation.

Another objective of ERABILH2 is to promote collaboration and ensure the competitiveness and excellence of the different players of the Basque Research Network in relation to technologies for the use of hydrogen in mobility and industrial applications, adapted to the needs of the Basque industrial fabric and which are easily transferable.

Successful completion of the project will make it possible to generate new knowledge in these fields. In turn, this will translate into new value propositions for industry in the Basque Country, which will be applied to make further progress in the deployment of hydrogen in the region.

The project is coordinated by Ikerlan and involves the participation of seven other partners from the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network, namely: Tecnalia, Tekniker, CEIT, MU-EPS, UPV-EHU, CAF R&D and Sidenor R&D.

Within the BH2C, the ERABILH2 project is included in Vertical 3: Industry.
