The H2MOTORSEA project to develop a new 100% hydrogen-powered engine for boat propulsion, led by Guascor Energy, joins the BH2C.

The objective of the H2MOTORSEA project is to provide a decarbonised solution to replace conventional internal combustion engines in power generation applications, both electrical for industrial applications and propulsion and auxiliary generation for applications in the marine sector, thus meeting the greenhouse gas emission reduction target set at the COP21.

H2MOTORSEA is a project approved in the PERTE call "Incentive programme for the green hydrogen knowledge and innovation value chain," within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan "Incentive Programme 2: Design, demonstration and validation of hydrogen powered mobility".

Within the BH2C Association, the H2MOTORSEA project is included in Vertical 4: Mobility.
