The BH2C explains its objectives and strategy as part of the BAT Talk session “Technology and innovation to build a more sustainable future”.

On Wednesday 17 May, a session jointly organised by Petronor Innovación, Repsol Corporate Venturing and the Fundación Repsol was held at the BAT to outline and explain the commitment, resources and projects being taken forward in different areas of the group to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of the energy transition and new technologies.

The session was headed by Gema García, Director of Corporate Venturing at Repsol; Ane Miren De Ariño, Head of the Fundación Repsol Entrepreneurs Fund; Manu Núñez, Director of Petronor Innovación; and Elías Unzueta, General Manager of Petronor Innovación.

In the course of the session, Fundación Repsol presented its Entrepreneurs Fund programme for the development of start-ups in their initial phases and support for their growth, whilst Corporate Venturing outlined the map of projects and activities to promote open innovation and participation in technology start-ups of interest to address the challenges of the energy transition.

On behalf of Petronor Innovación, Manu Nuñez presented the objectives and strategy of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor, while Elías Unzueta outlined Petronor's transformation strategy to deliver the goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
