SINTETIK – Research into cutting-edge technologies for producing renewable synthetic fuels and converting ammonia into hydrogen at a competitive cost.
Project description
The main objective of the SINTETIK project is to research into cutting-edge technologies and their key components for producing renewable synthetic fuels and converting ammonia into hydrogen at a competitive cost. To do so, four laboratory-scale prototypes will be developed, each based on a different technological approach: an electrochemical reactor for CO and methanol generation, a plasma reactor for syngas generation, an electrified membrane reactor for ammonia cracking, and a photocatalytic reactor for the production of renewable synthetic methane.
