Project description
The strategic objective of this project is to set up a knowledge centre for sustainable hydrogen technologies to become a benchmark in training, research, transfer and awareness-raising, as well as to support the needs arising in the BH2C and the demand from the industrial sector involved in it.
From a social and economic perspective, the aim of the centre is to contribute to the creation of a new industrial fabric based on sustainable hydrogen technologies), to train technicians, VT and university students, researchers and business professionals in hydrogen technologies, to promote research (driving the creation, coordination and transfer of technological knowledge in the field of hydrogen and its associated technologies) and to raise public awareness e.g. by providing information and knowledge on the most relevant aspects of the use of technologies and services associated with the use of hydrogen).
Impacto medioambiental
1. To contribute to the creation of a new industrial fabric based on sustainable H2 technologies across the entire value chain, from generation to end-use applications, at industrial, mobility and urban/residential levels.
2. To promote and raise awareness of the use of H2 in different industrial sectors, in the field of mobility and in urban environments, encouraging forums, outreach campaigns and networking opportunities for the exchange of best practice in the use of hydrogen.
3. To support the development of an ecosystem for the production of H2 using clean energies such as photovoltaic, wind or hydro, with the aim of decarbonising emissions in production processes and in the field of mobility.
