H2SKID: Research into innovative technologies in experimental portable electrolysers for the production and demonstrative use of green hydrogen in industrial applications.

Project description

The primary objective of the H2SKID project is to research into new technologies for the production of green hydrogen, using a 1.25 MW AEM/PEM experimental portable electrolyser as an enabling solution to supply green hydrogen to industrial end users (and potentially to supply oxygen for processes such as oxycombustion), whilst also establishing a robust local value chain around the associated electrolyser components and hydrogen compression and storage.
