ALETHEIA - Hydrogen Refueling Protocol Optimizer for verification and commissioning of H70 hydrogen refueling stations.

Project description

The purpose of this industrial research project is to enable Calvera Hydrogen to acquire the technological know-how to develop a prototype that can be industrialised and provide a real solution to the need to optimise hydrogen refueling station protocols based on R&D&I.
There is currently a gap in the market for equipment to evaluate and optimise the proper functioning of refuelling processes at hydrogen refuelling stations for intermodal uses, both in terms of compliance testing and later stages of maintenance. This has led Calvera to develop an industrialisable prototype that draws on the latest technology to provide hydrogen refueling station managers and operators with a customised service. At the same time, the device reduces the current time frame required for compliance testing, which can only be performed with commercial vehicles not designed for this function and which must be available to the infrastructure manager for the time necessary for start-up and maintenance operations.
The development of this new equipment for verifying and optimising hydrogen refueling processes will enable Calvera Hydrogen to offer customers, operators and maintenance personnel of hydrogen refueling infrastructure a unique service specifically designed for these operations.
