A group of companies from Scotland visits the Energy Intelligence Center.

A group of companies from Scotland who are currently in Bilbao for the Wind Europe Annual Event 2024, and for whom Basque Trade and Investment (SPRI) has organised several meetings and events in parallel to take full advantage of their stay here, visited the Energy Intelligence Center facilities at the Abanto Campus of the Basque Country Technology Park on Monday 18 March.

The delegation was welcomed by Aitor Arzuaga, General Manager of Alba Emission Free Energy, and Manu Núñez, Director of Petronor Innovation, who briefly explained Petronor's activities in the field of energy transition, as well as the unique characteristics of the Abanto y Zierbena Technology Park and its connection with hydrogen.

They were then given a presentation on the Basque Hydrogen Corridor, in which Asier Madariaga, a member of the BH2C technical office, spoke about how the BH2C came about, highlighted its relevance in terms of the decarbonisation of the Basque Country and detailed the stand-out technological and industrial projects of the BH2C and the milestones achieved to date.
