Project description
Construction of a reliable and competitive water electrolysis plant, breaking the water down into H2 and O2 and capturing the H2 to be compressed for use in the production process of sintered parts.
The project will address the feasibility of building an on-site PV-powered renewable hydrogen production plant, capable of supplying all the hydrogen required in the sintering production processes of the plant. In doing so, this would eliminate dependence on external supply by road transport, thereby reducing costs and the carbon footprint of the production process.
In addition, the existing PV installation on the plant rooftops will be enlarged to achieve 100% renewable production.

Impacto medioambiental
In addition to the production of greenH2 and the reduction of CO2, the project will contribute to the circular economy in the sense that both the sintered steel parts produced and the equipment and/or elements of the facility will be recyclable at the end of their useful life, thereby contributing to their re-usein other industrial sectors.
